Smokey Joe Train RailRoad, BR, Class 264 'Pug', 0-4-0ST, 56025 Era 4/5
Built in Scotland during the late Victorian and early Edwardian eras, these small 0-4-0 saddle tank locomotives were mainly used as shunting engines in railway works yards around Glasgow, although they could be used for light passenger services as well. Known as ‘Pugs’, it was not uncommon to see these diminutive locomotives operating with a small wagon that acted as a coal tender.
Our Hornby RailRoad collection provides a perfect entry into the exciting world of 00 gauge railway modelling. Designed to be less easily damaged, yet maintaining attractive detailing and accurate liveries, the range is ideal for both the younger enthusiast and experienced modeller
